SiteCheck by Rodrigo Linhas
“An automated tool that turns a website's technical signals into a clear, actionable report.”
Overview
SiteCheck reviews public pages, HTTP configuration, SEO, accessibility and performance. It combines bounded crawling, a real browser, axe-core and Lighthouse without presenting itself as a penetration test or security certification.
The Challenge
Running browser automation safely in a serverless environment, keeping state distributed across requests, and explaining technical results to people who buy websites.
Approach & Architecture
The architecture uses Redis-persisted jobs with TTL, bounded polling, and an explicit boundary between the private technical report and the free projection sent to the browser. SSRF validation covers DNS, redirects and browser requests.
Key Features
- Representative crawling of public pages
- Desktop and mobile browser audits with Playwright
- axe-core accessibility and Lighthouse measurements
- Distributed state, rate limiting and SSRF protection
Technical & Ethical Notes
The check is automated and limited to public information. Browser or Lighthouse failures degrade to not tested instead of fabricating results.
